After a 23-hour trip from Schiphol, Amsterdam our CEO Richard Versluis and CGO Rich Mott touched down in Auckland, New Zealand for the merlot.aero Airline Performance 3-day summit.
Airline Performance Summit
The 3-day summit held in Auckland, New Zealand was attended by over 20 airlines from across the globe, jam-packed with talks, discussions and interactive sessions focused on optimization and airline performance.
Day 1 was a great chance to discover more about merlot.aero’s strategy and future mission, and discuss the latest trends in crew optimization.
On day 2, we took to the stage to talk about crew engagement, another hot-topic within the industry. We shared RB group.aero business insights on how we engage and connect with over 300,000 airline crew professionals globally.
Passengers have access from airlines to much better tools than crew, great apps that give them the right information when they need it, isn’t it strange that we don’t provide that service to the crews at the center of airline operations?
Give crews the tools they love to use and they will be happy. This will result in reduced employee turnover and bring significant cost saving to airline operations.
Crews now often report feeling disconnected, with systems that are not engaging user crew focused. “ – Richard Versluis CEO
The summit was a great opportunity to meet many notable figures within the industry, we’re already looking forward to next years summit.
Catching up with Crew
After the 3-day summit, we took the opportunity to meet with some local New Zealand RosterBuster users.
We invited a small group of our New Zealand Ambassadors to a user session in downtown Auckland.
User sessions always provide us with such great insight and feedback and this one was no exception. We discussed app improvements and “must-have” crew features for future development.
We’d like to thank everyone that attended, it is always a pleasure to directly connect with our growing community.
